What to do when you have a flat tire?
What to do when you have a blown tire?
What is a blown tire? It is when rubber of your vehicle's tire is almost completely off and nearly rolling on the rim of the vehicle.
If you have a blown tire:
- If you are not yet parked in safety on the side of the road, slowly and with two hands on the steering wheel get your vehicle out of harms way and put on you hazards blinkers.
- If you are in a safe area and know how to change your flat tire, be sure your working area is clear to change your tire. If not, safely get your vehicle to where it is safe for you to change out your tire.
- If you have road markers or flayers, safely place them to warn other drivers of your stalled vehicle.
- If you do not know how to change out your flat tire, call Oahu Towing Company at (808) 425-9250 and we'll be there promptly to service you and your car, truck, or motorcycle's flat tires.
